I replaced a locked-up condenser fan motor on a Carrier Infinity 24ACB7 unit. I removed the faulty motor and installed a new OEM motor, ensuring correct alignment and secure mounting. I also replaced the capacitor to match the new motor's specifications. After wiring the connections, I tested the system to confirm proper operation and airflow.

compressor has failed, hard start has failed and dual capacitor is bad. need to replace to have system operational. failure most likely due to dirty coils inside and out causing over amperage. high resistance readings on all terminals. concerns -dirty coils evap and condenser -no condensate switch -no surge protectors -blower motor high amp draw -weak capacitor on blower -condenser fan motor high amp draw suggested system replacement, customer stated wants to see what warranty company says first, did not want qoute

Came out for not cooling , found another burt wire in condenser and compressor was making lound. Ouse , it was pulling and directing amps in direction didn’t need fix wire system is running and cooling down the house Recommend Upgrade system Better savings club

customer needs new unit. original diagnosis on January 11, 2024 furnace is not safe for use, remains final diagnosis. system is a 2 ton 60000 btu package unit, and needs replacement cannot consider furnace safe for use due to burner compartment being badly rusted and pitting, the induced draft compartment is badly rusted and pitting and will not allow motor to properly seal, inducer motor is locked up, burners are also badly rusting declined IAQ, BSC, no recommended repairs unit has to be replaced. customer stated she is fighting to make home warranty pay for replacement, and will not come out of pocket

customer stated hammond lost power other day, and when it came on the unit would not cool found burnt wires on compressor, replaced with new wire harness system functioning properly. strongly recommend replacing system due to efficiency, age, refrigerant type, and part availability. customer stated if warranty company was paying. declined BSC, IAQ, recommended repair, and quote for repairs
